The 2024 Tennessee Democratic presidential primary took place on March 5, 2024, as part of the Democratic Party primaries for the 2024 presidential election. 70 delegates to the Democratic National Convention were allocated to presidential candidates.[1] The contest was held on Super Tuesday alongside primaries in 14 other states and territories.

Biden won the primary in a landslide and received all 63 delegates.

Candidates

The filing deadline was December 5, 2023, at noon. President Joe Biden was the only candidate who met the certification requirements to appear on the ballot.[2]

US Representative Dean Phillips filed to run, but did not get enough signatures to make the ballot.[3]

Write-in candidates were permitted, and "uncommitted" was an option on the ballot. [4]
