Champsochromis is a small genus of cichlid fishes endemic to Lake Malawi in east Africa.

There are currently two recognized species in this genus:[1]

  • Champsochromis caeruleus (Boulenger, 1908)
  • Champsochromis spilorhynchus (Regan, 1922)
