Les Nomades
Les Nomades is a French restaurant in the Streeterville neighborhood of Chicago.
In its critique, the Michelin Guide notes the restaurant's "particularly interesting wine list."[1] The owner is Mary Beth Liccioni,[2][1] and Roland Liccioni is the chef de cuisine.[3] Zagat rated the food 4.9 out of 5.[4]
Cuisine
The Michelin Guide describes their food as "classical French cuisine", adding "Come dinnertime, diners look forward to a prix-fixe menu that allows them to choose between various courses, including an ahi tart, warming mushroom soup and sweet Grand Marnier soufflé."[5]
Dress code
Les Nomades requires men to wear a suit or sport coat in the restaurant.[6]
Influence
Classically trained chef Chris Nugent had a seven-year tenure at Les Nomades prior to opening prix fixe restaurant Goosefoot in Lincoln Square, Chicago.[7]

Though the casual dining movement seems unstoppable, this elegant holdout still likes to kick it old school. Here, along with classical French cuisine, guests are also treated to suited waiters and cart brigade service.
