Lin Yu-chang (Chinese: 林右昌; pinyin: Lín Yòuchāng; born 10 March 1971) is a Taiwanese politician who had served as the Interior Minister of Taiwan since January 2023 under the Chen Chien-jen cabinet. Before his ministership, he served as the mayor of Keelung City between 2014 and 2022, and he also served as the acting chairman of the Democratic Progressive Party from November 2018 to January 2019.

Early life

Lin did his bachelor's degree in landscape architecture from Chinese Culture University and master's degree in building and planning from National Taiwan University.^[3]

Lin was elected as the Mayor of Keelung City after winning the 2014 Keelung City mayoral election held on 29 November 2014.
