Mampsoukrenai

Place in ancient Cilicia

Mampsoukrenai or Mapsoukrenai, in Hellenic Antiquity known as Mópsou Krênae (Fountains of Mopsus), was a settlement and station (mutatio) of ancient Cilicia, on the road between Tyana and Tarsus, inhabited during Roman Byzantine times.[1]

Its site is tentatively located near Kırıtlar in Asiatic Turkey.[1][2]
