Tulantepec de Lugo Guerrero is one of the 84 municipalities of Hidalgo, in central-eastern Mexico. The municipality covers an area of 89.9 km2.

As of 2020, the municipality had a total population of 39,561, with 47.1% men and 52.9% women.[1] Compared to 2010, the population in Santiago Tulantepec de Lugo Guerrero increased by 18.1%.
