Deceiver of the Gods on ruotsalaisen metalliyhtye Amon Amarthin yhdeksäs studioalbumi. Se julkaistiin 25. kesäkuuta 2013 levymerkillä Metal Blade Records.[1] Deceiver of the Gods on teema-albumi ja tarina skandinaavisen mytologian puolijumalasta Lokista.[4]
Albumi ylsi Suomen virallisen listan sijalle 12.[2] Yhdysvalloissa se nousi Billboard 200 -listan sijalle 19.[3]
Vastaanotto
Albumi sai hyvän vastaanoton. Arvosteluja keräävän Metacriticin mediaaniarvio albumille on 67/100, mikä perustuu seitsemään ammattilaisarvioon.[5] Soundin Marko Säynekoski antoi albumille neljä tähteä viidestä. Hän sanoi albumin olevan johdonmukaisesti etenevä kokonaisuus, vahva perusalbumi, jonka elementit ovat kohdallaan.[6] Myös Kaaoszinen arvioija piti albumia onnistuneena ja taattuna Amon Amarthina.[4]
