Hughes-mitali
Hughes-mitali on yksi Royal Societyn myöntämistä palkinnoista. Palkinto on nimetty mikrofonin keksijän David Edward Hughesin mukaan. Ensimmäinen palkinnonsaaja oli elektronin löytänyt Joseph John Thomson, ja sittemmin palkinto on myönnetty useille kuuluisille tutkijoille, muun muassa Alexander Graham Bellille, Stephen Hawkingille, Enrico Fermille ja Hans Geigerille.
