Paul Magdalino
Paul Magdalino (d. 1948) St Andrews Üniversitesi ve Koç Üniversitesi'nde Bizans tarihi profesörüdür.
Araştırmaları 6 ile 13 yüzyıl arası Bizans dünyasının sosyal, kültürel ve ekonomik hayatı, Konstantinopolis şehri, kaehanetler, bilimsel düşünceler ve Bizans dini Ortodoksluk üzerine yoğunlaşmıştır.[1] I. Manuil (1143-1180) döneminde Bizans İmparatorluğu üzerine monografisi ile tanınır, Nikitas Honiatis'in hükümdara karşı olumsuzluklarını sorgular, Magdalino, bu eseriyle 1993 yılında Runciman Ödülü almıştır.[2]
